Dr. Thomas Watson will assist Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control with a microchip clinic during the festival! So bring your dogs out to get permanent identification.
A former military officer, Dr. Tom Watson attended undergraduate school and obtained his veterinary medical degree from Mississippi State University. Upon relocating to Charlotte in the early 90's, Dr. Watson worked as an associate veterinarian and as a traveling relief doctor at vet hospitals throughout North Carolina before opening Carolinas Veterinary Clinic in 1998.
Committed to his team and serving the Charlotte community, Dr, Watson regularly donates his time and skills to non-profit organizations for homeless pets. He participates in local events, such as Mecklenburg County's annual "Bark in the Park" celebration, and is the "Resident Veterinarian" for television's best morning show, "FOX News Rising." You can watch him on Thursday mornings at 7:40.
Together with his wife Kathie, he is the proud pet parent of eight dogs and three cats. All of the Watson clan are rescue animals and faithfully accompany the pair to the office each day.
